We have a comfortable, relaxed environment with modern study resources and equipment that play an important role in our students’ academic life.
The school has well-stocked Physics, Biology and Chemistry laboratories. The labs are well built, safe, spacious and well equipped with all chemicals and equipment.
Each of the laboratories has a smart-board which facilitate the teaching/learning sessions. Each laboratory accommodates about 20 to 30 pupils per sitting.
Riviera High School library promotes literacy, fosters a reading culture, and helps students and staff use ideas, information and technology effectively. It is a well organised library; well spaced and well set. It is well stocked with books for two curricula with a borrowing section that enable learners to extend their reading beyond the library premises. It has other sections ranging from textbooks and reference books to fiction and general knowledge. Since the school aims at making learning a fun activity, there is an assortment of books and magazines available on general topics and separate sections for hobby-related books; travel, animal care, short stories, drama, poetry, astrology and other topics.
The school subscribes to various dailies, weekly and monthly journals, newsletters and magazines, which includes National and International publications.
Our lives are so influenced by technology today that it is important that the children are scientifically and technologically literate. The school has two computer labs with more than 50 computers in each.
The hi-tech computer labs make the students technologically-savvy and keeps them abreast with the integration of computer skills in the learning of other subjects in the curriculum.
Our students are trained on the advanced software like MS-Office, Web Designing, Visual Basic, Oracle etc. Apart from these, computers are also used as a knowledge imparting tool to teach various subjects to students using multimedia CDs.
Sports is an integral part the curriculum at Riviera High School. That is why we go an extra mile to provide exceptional facilities, along with a wide range of exciting opportunities, to make our students active and healthy.
Besides nurturing their athletic talents, sports instill a spirit of healthy competition and team work among students and even staff. Qualified trainers and coaches monitor the progress of every child, to ensure participation, on the minimum, and then guiding talent where necessary. A learner should easily fit in any of these available sports options; football, basketball, tennis, volleyball and swimming.
